What is the Inman Aligner®?

The Inman Aligner® is a single aligner that uses nickel-titanium coil springs to carefully move your teeth into a healthy position. The springs trigger two aligner bows that work against one another to move your teeth. As the forces work over a wide range of movement, the aligner can quickly and effectively move your teeth.

What can I expect from treatment?

We will invite you to attend a consultation appointment where we will assess your suitability for treatment and answer any questions you might have. The next step involves taking impressions (moulds) and digital images of your teeth to create a made-to-measure aligner. Once the aligner has been created using this information, we will then invite you to come in and start your treatment. You will be required to wear the aligner for 16-20 hours a day, depending on the type of issue being addressed. We will ask you to come into the practice every 2-3 weeks to monitor progress.

We will create a custom retainer for you to wear after the aligner-wearing period is over. This is to make sure your teeth don’t move back into their original position.
