What are Dentures?

Replacing missing teeth is paramount to your wider health, and full or partial dentures (depending on how many teeth you have missing) are created to blend in with your smile and overall facial features.

What is involved with getting Dentures?

We will take impressions of your teeth, so the off-site dental technician can create bespoke dentures that match your current tooth shade. Once we receive your dentures back from the lab, we can invite you back to the practice for a fitting and you’ll be able to leave the practice with a brand new, aesthetic and functional smile. Usually, additional appointments are required between the initial impression appointment and the denture fitting appointment. This is because the construction of dentures is a complex process and various other measurements of your teeth, gums and face are required in order to provide the dental lab with all the information they require to create your dentures. You will be advised by your dentist of the number of appointments required in your particular case.
