Akruti is one of the Principal Dentists and Co-Owners at Family Dental Care Centre.
Akruti graduated from the University of Sheffield and has subsequently gone on to pass her examinations to obtain a Membership of Joint Dental Faculties with the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons (England). During this time Akruti also successfully obtained her postgraduate Diploma in Restorative Dentistry.
Akruti has extensive experience in primary care dentistry having worked in mixed practices in Leicestershire. Akruti has a very calm approach to patients and strongly believes in providing holistic dentistry and ensuring patients experience a friendly, mindful and relaxed journey at the practice. Akruti is also very passionate about teaching and has widespread experience in helping to train newly qualified Dentists and in has previously been a lead mentor for EU Dentists.
Akruti now spends most of her time working behind the scenes and carries the overall responsibility for the development of the practices. Akruti has a strong focus on compliance and clinical governance matters and also works hard behind the scenes to ensure the patient journey can be continuously enhanced.
Outside of work, Akruti loves to travel and explore different cultures and also enjoys reading, baking, food and spending time with her wonderful family.
