The band you pay depends on the treatment you need to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy.

Depending on what treatment is required, you will only pay one charge for each complete course of treatment, even if you require multiple visits to complete the course.

If you are not exempt from charges *, you should pay one of the following charges for each course of treatment you receive:

Emergency dental treatment – {{nhs_band_1}}

This covers emergency care in a primary care NHS dental practice such as pain relief or a temporary filling.

Band 1 course of treatment – {{nhs_band_1}}

Band 3 course of treatment – {{nhs_band_3}}

The NHS will not provide cosmetic treatments which is not deemed clinically necessary such as cosmetic polishing and tooth whitening.
